BEEF TOFU LONGGA AND SQUASH SOUP


BEEF TOFU LONGGA AND SQUASH SOUP. To make beef longganiza, mix 1/2 kilo lean minced beef, 1/2 kilo tofu, 2 tbs grated fresh garlic, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 pack 8g Magic Sarap, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp fresh-milled black pepper, and 1/2 cup olive oil. Refrigerate overnight. Cut into bite-size chunks and fry until brown and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside. Cook 1/2 kilo chopped squash and 1/4 kilo chopped carrots in 2 cups water, boil until soft. Add 2 Knorr sinabawang gulay cubes, 1 pack 8g Magic Sarap, 1 tetra brik Alaska Evaporated Filled Milk, and 1 bundle chopped Chinese kangkong. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Mix in cooked beef longganiza.
