BEEF MENUDO


BEEF MENUDO. Chop 1 kilo potatoes and 1/2 kilo carrots. Pressure-cook for 10 minutes with 500ml water. Set aside. Fry 3/4 kilo lean ground beef with a little oil. Add 150g tomato paste and 1/2 cup banana ketchup. Season to taste. I used three 8g packs of Magic Sarap. Mix in the cooked potatoes and carrots. Add 1/2 cup raisins. Simmer for a few minutes. Serve with hot rice, a few turns from your pepper mill, then finally drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
